"The scriptures spring from God, and flow unto Christ, and were given to lead us to Christ. Thou must therefore go along by the scripture as by a line, until thou come at Christ, which is the way's end and resting place. --Willam Tyndale

We believe the Bible, and the Bible alone, is the word of God inerrant and infallible in the original manuscripts. As such, the Bible is our final authority for all matters of life and faith. The church is under the authority of the Bible.

We believe that God exists eternally as three persons, Father, Son and Holy Spirit (the Trinity). The Father is God, but the Father is not the Son or the Holy Spirit. The Son is God, but the Son is not the Father or the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is God, but the Holy Spirit is not the Father or the Son.

We believe that the church is comprised of sinful people who have properly responded to the message of salvation from sin, death and judgment. While members of Christ’s church will not be sinless in this present world, they have been forgiven on the basis of what Jesus Christ has done in his substitutionary death for our sins.

We believe that the universe was created by God out of nothing, that it was created exactly as the first book of the Bible describes (Genesis 1 & 2): six literal 24-hour days. We affirm that mankind is created by God in his likeness and image: originally without sin. Men and women both bear the image of God and are equal in personhood yet distinct in the roles they play in human life.

We believe that Jesus Christ is the exalted centerpiece of the Holy Scriptures. We affirm his conception by the Holy Spirit in the womb of Mary, a virgin. We affirm his sinless life, his death as the penalty for our sins, his bodily resurrection from the dead, his ascension to the Father in heaven and his return in power and glory.

We  believe that sin entered creation by one man, Adam, whose act of disobedience brought sin upon all his descendants. We affirm that our salvation from sin is by grace alone through faith alone in Christ alone. Deliverance from the penalty our sin deserves (death and wrath) is God’s free gift in which human merit has no place.
